Cheap system... (update)
I am trying to burn a SVCD (mpg2) to a CDRW (done that many times using my old HP9500) but first time with my new Lite-On DVD burner. Anyway, no messing with Nero, the BIOS, drivers, or anything at all, I just physically threw-in the drive, and it duplicated a DVD+R onto DVD+RW media using the updated Nero!

I believe he has tried different manufacturer's including Memorex. I have had loads of compatibility problems with my own Plextor CD burner, so I'm familiar with and re-installing the Toshiba drivers to see if that helps. Toshiba specs I found on the web state it supports almost every conceivable format of DVD.

When i boot with mandrake all I get to Goph Ok the linux vga=0 command worked but now there is a new problem how do I load the linux raid driver that came with the motherboard.
